Brevettinews.it is a magazine that publishes articles on patents, trademarks, design, copyright and privacy, headed by lawyer Laura Turini.

The newsletter contains technical-legal information, selection of articles, indication of events, or other information relating to the legal sector and in particular to trademarks, patents, copyright, software protection, Internet law, the regulations on the treatment of personal data.

Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, we inform you:

Your data will be processed for the following purposes:

  • a) If you subscribe to the newsletter: to send you an informational newsletter in your e-mail inbox periodically but approximately once a month;
  • b) If you contact us: to reply to your request.

The requested data are necessary to offer you the required service. The legal basis for their treatment lies in the provision of the service requested – and therefore in the contract.

For the purposes of letter, a) the data will be kept until you unsubscribe from the mailing list, which you can do at any time by writing to the email address of the holder or using the link in the bottom part of the newsletter. For the purposes of letter b) the data will be treated for a period of 6 months from receipt of the request, the time needed to process your request adequately.

Your data will only be processed by the data controller, by expressly authorized employees and may only be communicated to the company that manages the website and/or to the supplier chosen for the forwarding and management of the newsletter and to the e-mail operator that acts as data processors. You may at any time obtain a detailed list of the data supervisors from the data controller.

INFORMATION ON YOUR RIGHTS (RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED)


In relation to the data provided, the interested person may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Ask the owner for confirmation of the existence of a processing of his data and access to them (right of access). In this case, you may request information or obtain a copy of your data that we have processed.

  • Ask for the rectification of your inaccurate personal data without undue delay (right of rectification). In this case, you may request that your data be updated or corrected.

  • Ask for the cancellation of your personal data if there is one of the reasons referred in art. 17, Reg. 2016/679 (right to be forgotten). In this case, the data will be permanently deleted.

  • Ask for a restriction on the processing of your data if there is one of the reasons referred in art. 18, Reg. 2016/679 (right to limitation). In this case, the data will remain exclusively stored but will no longer be processed for other purposes.

  • Revoke your consent at any time. In this case, the processing will stop for all processing operations to which the consent has been revoked.

  • Receive your personal data  in an interoperable format and transmit it to another data controller in accordance with art. 20 Reg. 2016/679 (right to data portability).

 

I would also like to remind you that you also have the RIGHT OF OPPOSITION in accordance with art. 21 Reg. 2016/679, you may at any time oppose to all or to a part of the processing, specifying the reason.

If you believe that your rights have been violated, you can also make a complaint to the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.

This policy may be changed at any time due to changes in our practices. We therefore invite you to consult it periodically. In the event of a change, the “Date of last change” in the bottom of this statement will be updated.
